Age Restrictions
For ages 18 & up
Description
Welcome Spring with an evening of exciting food, wine, and fun! Our Cooking School Instructors will create a meal that celebrates top women chefs, cookbook authors, cheesemakers, recipe developers, and women winemakers like Anne Willan, Alison Roman, Carla Hall, Paula Kornell, and Isabelle Simi. You’ll have a front row seat to view the action in our open kitchen and enjoy each bite as our experts provide a little background on each dish and insight into why each wine complements each course.
For ages 21 and up.
ABOUT PAULA KORNELL
Paula Kornell grew up working in the vineyards of her father, the founder of Hanns Kornell Champagne Cellars in the Napa Valley. After years of working with her father and then with wine merchants and other wineries in various capacities, Paula released her first vintage of California Brut in 2020 to great acclaim.
ABOUT SIMI WINES
Isabelle Simi learned quickly that the only way to crush the competition was to crush grapes. Over the course of 70 years, she led this winery from the brink of collapse during Prohibition to the California winemaking limelight. Success is in SIMI’s roots. Every sip won’t just teach you about a boss who never settled for anything less than she was worth. It’ll inspire you to do the same. Simi is proud of its legacy of female winemakers. Their collaboration with Reese’s Book Club delivers a collection of wines inspired by two female pioneers, Isabelle Simi and Reese Witherspoon, who built long-lasting legacies while supporting and empowering women everywhere.
