Wine Dinner. You will not be cooking in this class.

Age Restrictions

For ages 21 & up

Description

Embraced for their freshness, vibrant aromatics, and fruit-forward qualities, wines from the Gualtallary zone of Tupungato have become “must-haves” for Argentine connoisseurs. Domaine Bousquet, an early pioneer in this high-altitude sub-region of the Uco Valley, stands out for its singular reliance on eco-friendly, organic fruit and their French winemaking sensibility. Guided by our visiting expert, Anne Bousquet, you’ll sample three of their selections while our Cooking School Instructors show you how to make each dish.
For ages 21 & up.

ABOUT DOMAINE BOUSQUET WINES

Domaine Bousquet combines the know-how of French winemaking with Argentina’s exceptional climate and terroir. The vineyard is located at the foothills of the Andes, which contributes to fully ripened grapes with an excellent acidity. The grapes are hand-picked and the vineyard is certified organic.

  • Domaine Bousquet Sparkling Rose is produced from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in the methode traditionelle with a second fermentation in the bottle. This sparkling wine is a light salmon color with soft, delicate, long-lasting bubbles.

  • Domaine Bousquet, Virgen Organic Red Blend, created from a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, is a well -balanced, medium-bodied wine with black fruit flavors and medium tannins. Virgen is the most pure expression from this terroir, with only naturally occuring sulfites.

  • Domaine Bousquet Reserve Organic Malbec is a blend of estate-grown grapes from plots with low yields resulting in more body, more tannin, and more flavor. The elevation of the vineyards lends an Old World elegance to the wines which have been aged in French oak for 10 months.

Menu

  • Domaine Bousquet Sparkling Rose paired with Stacked Ratatouille

  • Domain Bousquet, Virgen Organic Red Blend, Tupungato, Uco Valley, Medoza, Argentina paired with Pears & Iberico Ham with Parsley, Olive Oil & Garlic Sauce
