We’re currently looking for additional Senior Healthcare Recruiters to join our growing Axis team. This role can be out of our Seattle office or anywhere in the nation. Remote candidates are encouraged to apply.
The primary focus will be the recruitment and retention of Rock Star Travel Nurses for 8, 13, and 26-week contracts. Specifically, this individual will support our Travel Nurse applicants in their search for open job orders throughout the country.

Responsibilities:
- Place Travel Nurses into available contracts throughout the nation.
- Develop and implement a unique marketing plan customized to your personal “brand” to establish and increase conversion rates respective to fill ratio.
- Utilize in-house resources to source new candidates.
- Follow up with leads from Axis website.
- Time to mine the database… contact qualified candidates in proprietary database via phone, text, email.
- Perform initial phone screen with candidates.
- Build initial profiles to submit candidates to available opportunities.
- In conjunction with the Director of Recruitment, develop strategy to convert and place available candidates within targeted key accounts.
- Negotiate pay rates and compensation package with candidates.
- Meets and exceeds company defined production goals.
Requirements:
- 3 years previous recruiting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in healthcare recruiting
- Track record of working with a minimum of 20+ nurses on assignment at any given point.
- Must be extremely knowledgeable of Travel Nursing industry and working knowledge of MSPs, VMS, and key national accounts
- Computer savvy and proficient with ShiftWise, Fieldglass, PeopleFluent, Medefis, etc.
- Be adept at social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and comfortable utilizing these as recruiting/sourcing tools.
- Extremely comfortable speaking with and engaging with people on the phone. This is a people business.
- Documented track record of success. We want the top-of-the-top candidates here.
- Must be motivated to succeed… and funny. (Okay, funny isn’t required, but a great perk).
- Must be energetic and team-oriented.

We are currently seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our team. We are growing at an incredible rate and need additional assistance to onboard our Travel RNs for new contracts and ensure they have a fantastic experience on their assignments. This is a Monday-Friday, full time position with an immediate start date.

What will I be doing?
The primary focus will be assisting our Recruitment team in qualifying and onboarding our travel nurses, as well as ensuring that our travel nurses have the best possible experience in their 13-week contracts with Axis. Specifically, this individual will credential and qualify new hires in hospital settings to ensure candidates meet the requirements set forth by Axis, our clients, and the Joint Commission. Additionally, you’ll work with each recruiter to act as primary points of contact for our Rock Star travel nurses.
The primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct professional reference checks
- Brand resumes to fit Axis format
- Secure and verify immunization records
- Assign and review applicable skills checklists
- Assign and review applicable competency exams
- Process all client-specific paperwork to candidates
- Process paperwork to run applicable Drug Screens
- Process paperwork to run applicable Criminal Background Checks
- Process all new hire paperwork
- Input information into client-specific VMS systems
- Maintain compliance of all current Axis staff members
- Answer inbound phone calls and transfer them to appropriate individuals within the organization
- Full-time, 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday position
- Conduct weekly check-in calls with all travel nurses
- Act as a Liaison between the recruitment team and travel nurses
- Work closely with the recruitment team to further develop relationships with travel nurses
- Provide feedback to recruiters and the Director of Recruiting from travel nurses
- Ensure travel nurses have an excellent experience with Axis
The ideal candidate will possess the applicable traits described above and must be a professional, diligent team player who has the ability to multi-task while working well under pressure.
What you need to have:
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to multitask and manage a large amount of candidate profiles
- Must be energetic and team-oriented
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of RN specialties/Medical terminology, preferred
- Working knowledge and interpretation of immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hep B., etc.)
- Working knowledge of industry-specific VMS technologies, preferred (ShiftWise, Peoplefluent, Fieldglass, etc.)

We’re currently looking for an Accounting and Payroll Clerk to join our growing Axis team.
Under the Supervision of Executive Management, the Accounting and Payroll Clerk will be responsible for assisting with all payroll and billing functions of the company, including securing timecards, auditing timecards for accuracy, entering into applicable systems, delivering invoices to clients on time, tracking of receivables, and following up on outstanding accounts. Note: This is a 4/10 schedule, with one of those days being Sunday.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Entering new hire information into payroll system(s)
- Communicate accurate timecard policies to all new employees, as defined by each client
- Weekly check-in to all Travel Nurses for timecard reminders
- Ensure timecards are accurate and submitted in proper format/portal
- Sending timecards to appropriate clients to meet their deadlines
- Following up with clients to ensure timecards/times were received
- Inputting staff members timecards/times into various clients’ user interfaces
- Auditing, approving, and assigning travel nurse assignment confirmation forms
- Sending invoices to clients as needed and following up when necessary to ensure all parties have what they need for timecard and invoice processing.
- Perform weekly and monthly billing processing for all clients
- Working with management to ensure candidates are compliant to begin new assignments.
Requirements:
- Two years’ payroll and timecard processing experience
- Two years’ billing experience, including tracking of receivables and facilitating collections of past-due amounts
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, preferred
- Knowledgeable of the Travel Nursing industry and working knowledge of MSPs, VMS, and key national accounts, preferred
- Provide exceptional customer service to our Travel Nurses, Hospitals, and VMS/MSP partners
- Build and grow relationships with our Travel Nurses, Hospitals, and VMS/MSP partners
- Attend various internal administrative meetings
- Strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Extremely comfortable speaking with and engaging with people on the phone
