Axis Medical Staffing Named Top 5 Travel Nursing Company For 2017
ROCK STAR STATUS, AGAIN!
Axis Medical Staffing has been named one of the Top 5 Travel Nursing Companies in the United States by Blue Pipes, a leading professional networking platform dedicated solely to the healthcare industry. The list was compiled from a variety of sources, including review services Highway Hypodermics and Travel Nursing Central, travel nursing blogs, Facebook, GlassDoor, and Indeed.
Blue Pipes reviewed more than 250 travel nursing companies from across the nation in order to compile their list and narrowed the field down to 20 top performers. They used a 100 point scale and assigned a score to each company. The 20th company on the list earned a B+ rating (numerical score of 88) while Axis Medical Staffing earned an impressive A rating (numerical score of 93).
“We are thrilled that Blue Pipes named us as one of the best travel nursing companies in the nation for 2017,” said Ryan Skjonsberg, Co-CEO of Axis Medical Staffing. “It’s even more gratifying knowing this list was compiled from reviews of our company, which is a testament to the long lasting and positive relationships developed by our extraordinary internal staff and our amazing network of nurses. This recognition is evidence of that.”

Axis Medical Staffing has also been recognized by Travel Nursing Central as one of the Top Travel Nursing Companies of 2016 and 2017.
“This highlights our continued commitment to our travelers; to ensure they have a wonderful experience and think of us first when they look for their next assignment,” explains Adam McKinnon, Co-CEO of Axis Medical Staffing. “As we continue to grow, we want our Rock Star nurses and their referrals to know and really feel that they are a part of Axis.”
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are expected to be over 3.2 million nursing jobs available across the country in 2022. With nurses in such high demand, travel nursing has increasingly become a more lucrative financial opportunity as well a chance to create a memorable experience for those interested in travel and adventure. Blue Pipes estimates that there were 32,000 working travel nurses in 2016 and we expect that number to rise in the coming years.
